Welcome to NoMachine TestDrive. This service offers both NX Web Companion and NX Builder deployed in a real context to let you easily evaluate the power of NX. Try your live experience of accessing remote desktops and applications with NX with any of the following tools.

NX Web Companion


Use the NX Web Companion, a small Java applet, to seamlessy download the NX Client suitable for your O.S. and start any of the available NX sessions.

NX Builder


Download and install NX Client for your platform and use the NX Builder, to start whichever session you like without the need of configuring your client manually.

NX Client


Download and install NX Client for your O.S. and log in to the NoMachine TestDrive as a guest user. NX Server will generate a temporary account for you on the fly.

All you need to do is launch your NX Client to configure and run your session, specifying testdrive.nomachine.com as the server host name in the GUI
	and then select 'Login as a guest user' in the NX Client login dialog.

	Technology Brief


		Data encryption and security NX security is guaranteed at every layer involved in the communication process. NX uses SSH public-key encryption and 128 bit volatile random cookie generation.


		Multimedia support NX transparently tunnels Linux multimedia channels. Not only does NX play KDE and Gnome system sounds, but you can listen to MP3s played on the server and local workstation simultaneously.


		Windows file sharing support Share a file, folder or entire disk from your local Linux computer and let it be accessed by the remote applications running on the NX server. Full support of industry standard SMB protocol.
